Nike's famous Air Max 1 get a ACG makeover with three new colorways for the holiday season. The three colorways and construction are heavily inspired by ACG with the contrast of bright and dark colors over rugged and durable material. The pack features three colorways: Red/Purple/Black, Blue/White, and Black/Green. The details around the shoe emphasizes the mashup with the ACG logo at the heel replacing the Nike Air logo. All the shoes feature the classic Air Max sole but the upper consists of material to withstand harsh condition like the thicker toe box. The collection will be available through Nike Sportswear/ACG retailers right now. More photos after the jump...

DREW's Note: The colorways are freekin' amazing. I want this whole collection. Nike Sportswear definitely got the fashion and functionality on lock.

With Christmas around the corner, Inglewood emcee Shawn Chrystopher is back with a present, his new and highly anticipated project, You, And Only You. The 13 track album includes the track  "Catch Me If You Can" and "The Hangover" with productions done by Shawn Chrystopher.  The album is available for free for digital download but it also can be purchased in physical form and it also available in a special fan package with t-shirts and a booklet if you are trying to support the guy. As part of the new generation of West Coast rappers, it seems like the BEST coast is in good hands. Check for the link after the album cover art...

DREW's Note:  I been a fan of Shawn Chryzee since I heard his 2009 project, A City With No Seasons, which I definitely consider one of the best Hip-Hop projects to come out of that year. I recommend people to check this dude out. He has a fresh and intelligent approach to his music and it definitely shows. Check this albums out and check out his past project while you at it.

When it comes to West Coast streetwear labels, Freshjive are definitely one of the labels that will be mentioned. Recently, the well-established label has decided to take a complete left turn and continue on un-branded. This holiday season, Freshjive brings a collection of cut-and-sew products that have more of a mature look than past collections with pieces like  long jackets,  solid and simple button-ups, and denim. The collection will soon be available at your local Freshjive retailers as well as the Freshjive store and their webstore. For this view into the collection was made possible with the help of photographer Jiro Schneder. For more photos, check after the jump...

DREW's Note: The collection definitely evolved from what Freshjive is usually known for. This evolution into a more mature look just shows not only how the designers are maturing but the label itself. Freshjive has been out since 1989, it was bound to evolve and grow. I'm diggin' the collection, Freshjive.

Nike's Air 180 model has always been a classic since day one with the dope colorways and the signature 180 sole. This upcoming spring, Nike is releasing a new pair of Air 180's and like the past releases, they're look dope with a new colorway of Black with Hot Red on the 180 sole and the logo at the heel and Blue/Grey accents found on the tongue. The upper of the shoe feature a lightweight body with a sections of perforated leather. The shoes are set to be released during January of 2011 but stores like UK's Crooked Tongues have them for pre-order.

When it comes to player logos, there were only a few that came to people's mind; Michael Jordan, Penny Hardaway, and a few others. Recently, player logos has been appearing all over the court. This is a small showcase of PE (Player Edition) logos from Nike Basketball sponsored players like Dirk Nowitzki, Deron Willimans, and Steve Nash. Each of the logos have a certain characteristic that fits the player like the "dragon" that represents Yi Jian Lian's chinese heritege or the silhouette of a shooter that represent the obvious shooting skills of Ray Allen. A closer look and more logos are after the jump...

DREW's Note: This post is definitely influenced by my degree in Marketing. I love brand marketing and hopefully have a career in it someday. At this moment, I'm trying to create a brand with this website. Watch out for the "SNS".

For their 2011 Spring releases, New Balance presents the "Made In England" shoes. The shoes are based on the M1500RBB silhouette with a Grey/Black/Neon Red colorway. The shoe features a mesh and nubuck upper with Neon Blue accents and the text "Made In England" on the tongue. The shoe is now for pre-order at End's webstore. More photos after the jump...

DREW's Note: I'm loving the colorway on these. Though the red is pretty bright, it doesn't overpower the shoes. Seems like I'll be purchasing these in the spring.

Atlanta-based retailer Wish links up with nostalgia specialist Mitchell & Ness for a collaborative project that is focusing on the history of Wish and the grounds it's built on. With a Black/White colorway, many of the varsity patches and details on the jacket all has a meaning. Wish was built on the foundation that once was the foundation of Atlanta's first Carnegie library, hence the "Do Your Research" text on the right part of the chest. The "W" AND "06" varsity represent Wish and the year the store opened up while the "447" on the left sleeve is the address and the four trophies on the left pocket represent the year's they been active. The  limited edition jacket is now available at Wish and their webstore.

DREW's Note: I love varsity patches. Varsity patches definitely gives me a feeling of life during the 50s when everyone would rock their letters on jackets, sweaters, and cardigans. This jacket is dope and the design is a definitely blueprint of how a varsity jacket should look like.

DREW's Note: Damn...why is video so short! Anyways, this video is a must watch, not only for artist, but for everyone. After watching this video, it makes me want to just work and get things done.

New York actor and well-known Hip-Hop fanatic, Michael Rappaport, directed one of the most highly anticipated Hip-Hop documentaries, Beats, Rhymes & Fights: The History of A Tribe Called Quest.
