When it comes to player logos, there were only a few that came to people's mind; Michael Jordan, Penny Hardaway, and a few others. Recently, player logos has been appearing all over the court. This is a small showcase of PE (Player Edition) logos from Nike Basketball sponsored players like Dirk Nowitzki, Deron Willimans, and Steve Nash. Each of the logos have a certain characteristic that fits the player like the "dragon" that represents Yi Jian Lian's chinese heritege or the silhouette of a shooter that represent the obvious shooting skills of Ray Allen. A closer look and more logos are after the jump...

DREW's Note: This post is definitely influenced by my degree in Marketing. I love brand marketing and hopefully have a career in it someday. At this moment, I'm trying to create a brand with this website. Watch out for the "SNS".

San Francisco-based creative group Agency Charlie continues their Neighbors series with this video focusing on the legendary SF graffiti artist Mike Giant. The Neighbors series is a video series that features short stories from individuals from various neighborhoods in San Francisco. The video is a very short glimpse into the life of Mike Giant. He discusses his art and his philosophy on work ethics and people who "fuck around". Check out more on the series at Agency Charlie's vimeo.

DREW's Note: Damn...why is video so short! Anyways, this video is a must watch, not only for artist, but for everyone. After watching this video, it makes me want to just work and get things done.

The L.A. skateboard brand stacks brings a new collection of skate decks. As always, stacks combine the world of art and skateboarding to create very authentic collection. This time around stacks links up with artist Steven Harrington and Jonathan Zawanda for six very beautiful and unique skate decks. Each deck will be available in three different sizes and will be sold at stacks retailers and their webstore.

DREW's Note: I've only heard of stacks recently and with what I have seen lately I growing into a fan. I love this brand because of the clash of two worlds that stacks bring between art and skateboarding/
