The 11-track mixtape features and inrtoduces a collection of up-and-coming Bay Area artist with production done by Drooh Propa a.k.a. Johnny Prophet, the founder/producer of DON PROPA Productions. DREW's Note: Definitely keep y'all ears out for DON PROPA because this won't be the LAST time you will hear of them. I've been homies with Drooh since our days on the playground and he has always had a love for music since day one. I recommend EVERYONE to check out this mixtape. It's just GOOD music. Definitely keep y'all ears out for some collaborative projects from me and Drooh in the future. Ha!

With the news of a new Michael Jackson album, a new track from the album titled "Breaking News" appears on the internet off the Michael Jackson website. The track was laid down in 2007 but was, of course, unfinished. The track is part of "Michael", a new album full of unreleased/unfinished material from Michael Jackson. The unfinished tracks were finalized and mastered by various producers. The album has already built itself some controversy with members of the Jackson family claiming that tracks on the album was not sang by Michael but sang by "Michael imitators". Sony had responded with the fact that it is Michael based on research and the accounts of people who were in the studio with Michael during those unreleased recordings. The track is only available for online streaming at his website, michaeljackson.com.

DREW's Note: Okay, first off, I am a HUGE Michael Jackson fan. Been one since day one and the Family can back that one up. Ha! As for the track, I have been listening to the track for most of the day and I am very "iffy" on the vocals. It sounds like MJ but at the same time, it doesn't. [shrugs] It could be the controversy affecting my judgement about the vocals but then again...What do you guys think?

The mixtape  is mixed by DJ Babey Drew. Chrisette Michele's third studio album Let Freedom Reign is set for release on November 30th. Check after the photo for the download.

As part of Gatorade's thrid season of their Replay video series, Common, Lupe Fiasco, Jennifer Hudson and producer No I.D., four of Chicago's finest, join forces to create "We Can Do it Now", an anthem for their hometown. The relation with this collaboration is that the third season of Replay is based on the controversial game of the 2000 Illinois state basketball playoff game between two Chicago high schools, Bloom Township and Brother Rice. A game that was decided by a gun...literally! For a teaser, check www.replaytheseries.com. The track is a very soulful production that perfectly represents the Windy City. For the download and a video on making the track is after the jump...

DREW's Note: This is a dope collaboration, there is nothing wrong with this list of artist. As for the Replay series, it's a very interesting story, I recommend people to check out the series and I DEFINITELY recommend people to check out the track.
